Seamless Onboarding

Collect commonly used apps for all employees and assign additional apps based on job roles—before their first day.
For example, an administrator can pre-assign apps based on an employee’s role.
When the new hire logs into PoPs using their Google Workspace account, they’ll see a personalized list of all the apps they’re authorized to use.
With apps that support Single Sign-On (SSO) or Secure Browser Authentication (SBA), new employees can access their tools immediately on day one—no IT help required—allowing them to focus on work from the start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feature

Is It Only Possible to Log In to SaaS Apps via SSO?
No. Even if an app does not support Single Sign-On (SSO), administrators can still add it to PoPs and assign it to users.
Users will see these apps in their PoPs launcher. However, since SSO is not supported, only a direct link is provided and users must log in to the app separately.

For non-SSO apps, users can securely store and manage their login credentials (ID and password) within PoPs for easier access.
Do I Have to Use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for SSO?
No, PoPs supports SSO and MFA regardless of which email or identity provider you use.
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 are commonly used because many organizations rely on them for email and productivity tools—but they are not required for SSO to work in PoPs.

For apps that do not support SSO, PoPs allows you to securely store your login credentials (ID and password) so you can still access those apps through the launcher.
How Is PoPs Different from Okta?
While PoPs offers overlapping features with Okta—such as SSO, MFA, and identity management—it is positioned as a SaaS Management Platform (SMP) with a broader roadmap.

PoPs goes beyond authentication to provide:
-Visibility into SaaS usage and spending
-Cost optimization and duplicate license detection
-Intelligent SaaS recommendations based on actual usage
-Automated SaaS operations and license provisioning

In short, PoPs combines identity-level control with comprehensive SaaS lifecycle management, making it ideal for organizations seeking to centralize both access and operational visibility.

About SMP

What Is the Difference Between SSO and SMP?
SSO (Single Sign-On) is an authentication solution that allows users to access multiple applications and websites using a single set of login credentials—simplifying access and improving security.

SMP (SaaS Management Platform) is a broader solution that enables organizations to manage and operate all SaaS tools in use. It includes features such as usage tracking, cost optimization, license management, app provisioning, and policy enforcement.

PoPs provides both SSO and SMP capabilities, helping organizations streamline access while gaining full control over their SaaS environment.
